The activity focuses on the preparation, characterization and surface
modification of
porous materials and colloid inorganic particles.
Special emphasis is on the synthesis of colloid systems of zeolites and also of
utrathin films of
zeolites. The latter ones can be used for the preparation of of tailor-made
zeolitic macro
structures ( zeolite fibres, zeolite membranes, etc ) which are of interest for,
inter alia,
applications in catalysis.
